Data Removal
Last updated: 28 August 2026
Google Play asks every app to explain how a user can delete their data. For TRAIL the answer is short, because we never receive any of it.
We hold nothing to delete
TRAIL has no account system and no server-side storage of user content. We do not collect personal data, and we have no database containing anything about you. There is therefore no account to close and no records for us to erase on request.
Everything TRAIL stores lives on your own device, entirely under your control.
Deleting individual photos and videos
- Open TRAIL.
- Tap the gallery icon in the top right.
- Tap the exposure you want to remove.
- Tap Delete.
The item is removed from your device immediately.
Deleting everything at once
Option A — clear the app's storage Android Settings → Apps → TRAIL → Storage → Clear storage. This deletes every saved exposure and every stored preference. TRAIL returns to a fresh state.
Option B — uninstall Uninstalling TRAIL removes the app and all of its local data, including saved exposures and settings.
Both options are irreversible. If you want to keep an exposure, use Share in the app first to send it to your photo library or another app.
Photos you already shared out
If you used Share to send an exposure to your gallery, a messaging app or a cloud service, that copy now lives there and is outside TRAIL's control. Delete it in that app.
Purchases and subscriptions
Purchase records are held by Google Play, not by us. To cancel a subscription: Google Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → TRAIL → Cancel.
Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not delete data on your device — use the steps above for that. Google's handling of purchase records is covered by Google's privacy policy.

Email [email protected]. We will reply, but to set expectations honestly: we will almost certainly have to tell you that we hold nothing about you, and point you back to the steps on this page.
